Lip Sync Filming

Realising that we have to make major improvements to the lip syncing in the video, i arranged to film my brother singing the lyrics again. Making sure he got it word for word perfect, so the band shot would be highly effective and his character would be very believable as the actual main singer.

I printed out the lyrics and selected the specific bits that needed to be improved, i highlighted them making sure he read them the day before and knew them perfectly.

When we filmed we didn't have the access to the band being positioned behind the singer, so we used the same location but used many close ups of the singers face so the absence of band members would not be highly noticed, and effectively make it another individual running narrative.
We also used my car's CD player to have access to the song while filming, so we could listen to the timings of the lyrics, to ensure perfection. We did numerous re takes of the same line, to make sure we got it correct.
